When People Say Goodbye

Bad bad day. Had “o” level science practical today. Kept my phone in my locker instead of surrendering it =x

Physics paper was a total mess, I’m referring to the questions set. The range given and the range they require us to experiment was not equal and the t2/s2 so confusing la. Not facilitated unlike past year’s papers. I got 12.1m/s2 for acc of free fall, so out already la. One mark gone.

Chemistry was actually ok but the last question screwed my day up. Here it goes:

How can you obtain zinc sulphate in its crystalline form when given zinc oxide.

The answer should be something like “ add in sulphuric acid and heat mixture. Leave solution to cool and evaporate on an evaporating dish. Dry and clean the crystals when the solution is evaporated leaving only the residue there.”

My answer was “ using iron sulphate, mix it with zinc oxide. Filter the precipitate formed with a funnel and filter paper. dry the crystals on an evaporating dish.”

WHAT has it gotta do with displacement reaction !!!!!! I didn’t know how to answer it so I used theory. W/o realizing that sulphate can replace oxide as only nitrates can dissolve all metals ions. I did not study so I totally forgot about sulphuric acid. Er jie still showed me the notes she had and told me how wrong am I, so cruel la.

Stayed in the hall for sooooooooooooo long as we were in the first shift. Still had to wait till other schools shifts to finish which is about 1.30pm. and danapal was all the while in the hall. So I hid behind namira and slept. Later on went over to si jie’s side to talk rubbish and gossips haha.

I ate a lot today, seriously too much.

Two sausage bread in the morning.

When in quarantine I ate pocky, cuttlefish, hello panda, sweets, chocolates and strawberry milk.

After exams, I had chicken rice, and fishball noodle. Double what I usually eat.

Went home and ate the whole packet of rice.

I don’t know why I just feel hungry all the time though my tummy never shrinks. Normally when I’m hungry I’ll lose about an inch. But today it just kept adding on but yet I’m still hungry. Stress syndromes ??

Stayed back in school, wee nee took sooo long to walk home to retrieve her phone. Went for choir. My voice seriously sucks now. Crack here and there, note range has decreased, support very lousy but still long-breathed la haha. While walking outta school, the ones who had more training sang together. We sec4s , some sec3s, chu ping and another jolin sang together. The chord we striked was kind of pleasant so I think the juniors just can’t get the right mechanism and commitment to feel for the music. Their techniques not mastered properly. Hopefully they’ll do well for their competitions and performances to come. I envy them as they have so much more exposure to professional refined arts than what we had in the past. They have overseas workshop by famous people, watching a hundred concerts, clinicians and many more other tip-top people to coach them. My wish is for them to live up to the name and strive for a gold in nexy yr’s SYF. Good luck guys, I miss choir truckloads.

Am very tired now. Shall retire the day early. Sleeping at 8.30pm sounds nice haha. Take care guys, ciao.
